Fourth Regional Games, Tunis, 2004

 The 4th Regional Games were held from 4 to 7 September 2004

 under the auspices of President Zein Al-Abidine Bin Ali. During the four-day event, 600 athletes competed in six sports from Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Yemen, Iran, Kuwait and Algeria.

Third Regional Games, Beirut, 2002

The 3rd Regional Games were held from 4 to 9 September 2002 under the auspices of the previous President Rafiq Al-Hariry. Around 400 athletes and 150 coaches took part in the Games representing; Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Mauritania, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Libya, Jordan, Oman and Yemen.

First Regional Games, Cairo, 1999

It was held in Cairo in 1999 under the auspices of Her Excellency Egypt’s First Lady, Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak Honorary Chairperson of Special Olympics Egypt. 210 athletes and 89 coaches took part at the Games. The athletes represented 13 programs; Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Mauritania, Egypt and Jordan.
