ستتلقى حركتنا منحة بقيمة 30 مليون دولار من توم جوليسانو للإستمرار في تحسين الصحة وإنقاذ حياة الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقات الفكرية.
كان توم، وهو الأب لابن من ذوي الإعاقات الفكرية، شريكاً لنا وصاحب رؤية في طريقنا نحو الدمج لمدة تقارب عقد من الزمن وذلك لتقديم الرعاية الصحية للأشخاص الذين يعانون من الإعاقات الفكرية. سيمكّن دعمه المستمر للأولمبياد الخاص من تغيير حياة اللاعبين من خلال التدريب في مجال الرعاية و الفحوصات الصحية و زيارات المتابعة و البرامج الصحية وتنمية الأطفال الصغار.

Special Olympics has some game-changing news to share. The movement is to receive a $30 million gift from Tom Golisano to continue to improve the health and save the lives of people with intellectual disabilities.
For nearly a decade, Tom, father of a son with an intellectual disability, has been our partner and visionary in driving inclusion in health care services for people with ID. His continued support will enable Special Olympics to change the lives of our athletes through health care professional training, health screenings and follow-up visits, health programs, and improved development in young children.
We thank Mr. Golisano for his generosity, which will help Special Olympics improve the health of millions of people with ID forever and drive us even closer to our founder Eunice Kennedy Shriver’s vision of an inclusive society.
