نظرًا لإنتشار متحور دلتا من فيروس كورونا في جميع أنحاء العالم قررت الأولمبياد الخاص تأجيل الألعاب الشتوية العالمية، كازان إلى يناير 2023. لم يكن هذا قرارًا سهلاً، ولكن صحة وسلامة اللاعبين، المتطوعين، الموظفين والمشجعين لدينا ذات أهمية قصوى. تلتزم الأولمبياد الخاص بمواصلة العمل مع الفريق المؤسس لاستضافة الألعاب الشتوية العالمية في كازان عام 2023.

Due to the Delta variant of COVID-19 spreading across the globe, Special Olympics has decided to postpone the World Winter Games, Kazan to January 2023. This was not an easy decision, but the health and safety of our athletes, volunteers, staff, and fans is of primary importance.
